Kate Locke Osteopath – South Yarra Osteopath
Kate Locke Osteopath is a passionate osteopath who graduated in 2006 from Victoria University. Prior to that she completed qualifications in Sports Science/Human Movement so the progression to osteopathy was a natural fit. After completing a Masters in Osteopathy, Kate has gone on to complete further studies in Paediatric Osteopathy allowing her to treat infants and young children.
Since graduating Kate has mostly practiced from Tasmania having relocated to Melbourne only two years ago. She is an active member within the osteopathic profession; currently president of the Australia Osteopathic Association.
Kate enjoys treating a range of conditions and is happiest when the patient has the best possible outcome for themselves. She has extensive experience in treating neonates and infants, particularly babies with plagiocephaly or digestive issues. With interests also in pelvic pain or pelvic instability in pregnant women. Neck and back pain are complaints that she is very comfortable treating too.
She enjoys running and the outdoors, but is just as happy watching the latest show on Netflix. Kate is already looking forward to next years AFL season so she can resume watching her team the Mighty Melbourne Demons.
