Grant Johns remedial massage therapist has been practising for over 10 years. His clinical experience is diverse. Having provided remedial massage in many different settings. He’s worked with the Richmond Football Club (AFL), South Melbourne Football Club (VPL), and Endeavour College of Natural Health. As well as within various multi-discipline private clinical settings.
In 2007, a debilitating hip injury sparked the career change to remedial therapy. As a result, he loves treating individuals who find themselves in similar circumstances. Furthermore, Grant takes pride in showing genuine care and empathy for the individual. Above all he strives to provide a clear pathway to full function and pain free living.
Clinical Interests
He enjoys seeing the full spectrum of clients. For instance, clients with chronic pain, professional athletes, weekend worriers to office workers. As a result of his history, he enjoys treating hip complaints. Furthermore, he also loves the challenge of a longstanding shoulder issue. Also enjoys addressing lower back or neck complaints. In addition to remedial massage, he utilises rehabilitation to achieve longstanding results.
Grant uses deep tissue treatment. It’s a unique form of heavy fascial release to target restricted areas. Remedial massage is not a relaxation massage, nor a soft tissue technique. It involves firm deep continuous pressure on the muscles
